Visa Vietnam for Taiwanese

There are 2 ways to get Vietnam visa from Taiwan for Taiwanese passport holders: visit Vietnam Embassy directly, apply for Vietnam visa on arrival.

Option 1: Visit Vietnam Embassy in Taiwan for getting Vietnam visa

This is considered to be a traditional way to obtain entry visa to Vietnam. You just need to visit Vietnam Embassy in Taiwan in person to ask for visa procedure. Normally, the processing time takes 5-7 working days. However, if you show your urgent ticket, the Embassy officers may issue visa quicker. Keep in mind that your passport must have at least 6 month validity.

Option 2: Apply Vietnam visa on arrival

The most hassle-free way to obtain Vietnam visa for Taiwanese passport holders who travel by air is to apply for Vietnam visa on arrival through a travel agent/tourism company. With such method, applicants do not need to send away original passport via post or visit Vietnam Embassy directly.

How to get Vietnam visa on arrival in Taiwan?

You can access our online application form at http://govietnamvisa.org/apply-vietnam-visa fill out all your personal details exactly as on your passport, make payment for service fee and wait 2 working days (normal processing) or less (urgent processing) to get Vietnam visa approval letter via email. After that, all you need to do is to bring your visa approval letter + your passport (valid for 6 months at least) + 2 photos of passport size + stamping fee in cash to get Vietnam visa stamped at one of Vietnam international airports

Note: You can choose any Vietnam Embassy located in the world during submission, not necessarily to be Vietnam Embassy in Taiwan. However, after getting Vietnam visa code letter, you must bring it to the exact Vietnam Embassy. Otherwise, Vietnam visa approval code letter is not valid if you bring it to a different Vietnam Embassy to get visa stamped.
